Ongoing help from people who know how your site is built.

Most websites don't need constant attention, but they do need some. Content goes out of date, software needs updates, and occasionally something breaks. Maintenance covers that routine work so small problems don't turn into big ones.

Website Maintenance is for

  • Businesses without someone in-house to look after the website
  • Owners who'd rather send a quick email than learn the CMS
  • Sites built by PreviewDeck or another developer that need ongoing care

What maintenance covers

  • Content updates

Text, photos, prices, team changes, and new pages on request.

  • Technical fixes

Finding and fixing whatever stopped working.

  • Dependency updates

Keeping the software your site relies on current and secure.

  • Routine checks

Forms, links, HTTPS, and page speed checked periodically.

  • Minor enhancements

Small improvements and new sections as your needs change.

  • Support

Answers from someone who knows how your site was built.

What maintenance isn't

Maintenance keeps an existing site healthy. It isn't open-ended development. New features, new sections that need design work, or larger rebuilds are quoted separately so you always know what you're paying for.

How much maintenance a site needs depends on how it's built. A lean, mostly static site needs very little. A site with a CMS and plugins needs regular updates to stay secure.

Frequently asked questions

How much does website maintenance cost?

It's quoted based on your site and how much you expect to change. A small static site needs much less than a store or a site with lots of plugins.

Can you maintain a site you didn't build?

Often, yes. We'll review it first and tell you honestly whether it's something we can look after well.

Is maintenance included with hosting?

Hosting includes basic technical maintenance of the hosting platform. Content changes and fixes to the website itself are maintenance work.

Tell us a little about your business and what you need. We'll reply with questions or a clear next step, and confirm any quote before work begins.
